The road has been paved, adding several vertical feet to the camera station and disturbing some of the immediate foreground. Most of the Larrea away from the road’s edge are still present and appear to be about the same size. None of what appears to be Ambrosia in 1933 is definitely in the same place. The livestock are gone, but off-road vehicle use associated with the Spangler Hills Off-Road Vehicle Area is widespread. Several recreational vehicles are parked in the view near some old mining disturbance. (Dominic Oldershaw)
