| Arsonists burned the buildings at the Skidoo mining headquarters sometime in the late 1960s. In addition, a wooden ore-loading structure on the tailings pile on the right is gone. The Skidoo mill, now on the National Register of Historic Places, remains. In the foreground, little changed between 1960 and 1984. A total of 20 Coleogyne individuals persist, and most look similar. In addition, individuals of Grayia spinosa (hop-sage), Lycium andersoni (Anderson wolfberrry), and Achnotherum speciosum (desert needlegrass) persisted the 24 years between the photographs.
