| The Patsy Clark Mine, named for a then-famous mining entrepreneur, was one of the few operations in the Greenwater Mining District that actually produced significant mine shafts. Eventually, this shaft would reach about 2,000 vertical feet. The mine headquarters appears in the little valley at the base of the tailings pile; more of this type of buildings were out of the view to the right.
